Why we built it
Small problems on client sites stay hidden until they are big ones
An SSL certificate quietly expires. A contact form starts bouncing. A redirect breaks and search traffic slips. None of it announces itself, and on a portfolio of client sites it is impossible to watch everything by hand.
Janitor started from a simple frustration: agencies and freelancers are trusted to keep client sites healthy, but the tools for it were either single-purpose uptime pings or heavyweight enterprise suites that nobody had time to set up. So problems surfaced the worst possible way, when a client noticed first.
We built Janitor to close that gap. Add a site and it starts watching across two dozen checks, from uptime and SSL to DNS, SEO, security and performance. When something fails, you hear about it by email, Slack or webhook before it becomes a phone call. And every month the monitoring becomes a clean, branded report that shows your clients exactly what they are paying for.
