Introducing Webhooks

< More Blogs

We have now introduced Webhooks to all websites on Janitor. A webhook is a unique URL for each website which, when visited, will run all of the enabled checks on your website.

You can find the webhook URL on the website page when you log into Janitor.

To use the webhook you just need to make a request to that URL. You can check it works by visiting in your browser.

A better use-case for using a webhook would be as a deployment hook. Most CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools will have a feature allowing you to specify a URL to be hit after deployment has run. Using our new feature you can automatically run all enabled tests when a deployment has finished.
